If you have curly hair, this has no effect on the shade you choose to colour your hair.
In fact, your colour should match your complexion, like makeup, and has nothing to do with the natural state of your hair.
On the other hand, curly hair doesn’t reflect light in the same way. If you want highlights, they will have to be wider than on straight hair, as curly hair has more volume. Curly hair is also more fragile and requires careful maintenance to prevent oxidation.
